Tala is a professional dancer who trained in Vaganova ballet technique at The Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C. and the Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts in Connecticut. She danced with the Colorado Ballet, the Boulder Ballet, and with the avant-garde ballet company, Lemon Sponge Cake Contemporary Ballet. She was a dancer in the Sirens of T.I. show directed by Kenny Ortega and you can currently see her dancing in the Matt Goss Live show at Caesar’s Palace every Friday and Saturday night at 9:30 pm, which is produced by Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin. She is also proficient in jazz, burlesque, contemporary, modern, lyrical hip- hop, showgirl, cheer, and go-go/ freestyle dancing. Tala also utilizes her dance training in commercials, music videos, television, and film. She feels she has come a long way from when she used to annoy her parents by tap dancing in the supermarket aisles as a kid!
Tala is a print, runway, catalog, swimsuit, body parts (hands, legs, feet, back), and promotional model as well as a spokeswoman and host. She currently models for the retro-inspired Bettie Page Clothing line in their catalogs and runway shows. She was the cover of Wedding Extravaganza magazine for the entire year of 2008, was the featured model in World & Pleasure magazine in their September 2009 issue, and can be seen in an article for Sports Illustrated, December 22, 2008. She can even be spotted in casinos around the world as a “live interactive dealer” for Shufflemaster Gaming machines. Her clients include Dior, Versace, Lanvin, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, DKNY, Sauvage Swimwear, Joe’s Jeans, Bebe, Guess, Guess by Marciano, Old Navy, Baby Phat, Saks 5th Ave., Neiman Marcus, Macy’s, Dillard’s, Nike, Puma, Skechers, Lululemon Athletica, Beach Bunny Swimwear, Maison Close, Huit Lingerie, Leg Avenue, Spa at Bellagio, Bettie Page Clothing, MAC Cosmetics, Jimmy Choo, Chloe, and Piaget.
